2018 marks the Centenary of Armistice, and as a special tribute and thanks to those who have given so much for our country, we are dedicating this year to them.

The Gift Of Music will be marking the Centenary with 126 individual 'Musical Dedications' and 126 individual recitations of 'The Ode'.
Why 126? - This is the number of Cairns (area) Service Men and Women who lost their lives during the First World War. Those 126 names appear on the Cairns Cenotaph in front of the RSL on Cairns Esplanade.

These tributes will take place every morning, starting on Monday 26 February 2018, at 8am from the Remembrance Garden in St Andrew's Catholic College.

A Memorial Plaque will be placed in our Remembrance Garden in honour of each individual fallen Service Persons, the musician and the name of the person reciting The Ode.
